The world is a cruel place, isn’t it?The corrupt, the stupid, they ruin it, they run it. Imagine the happiness we could feel, the freedom we’d have without them. But alas, its human nature and wishing otherwise is but a pipe dream.I don’t say this because I’m suicidal, or depressed. I say this because it's sad, because it's a reality I face everyday and it does affect me in some ways. I don’t wish to live in this world, but I'd rather that than death of course. For there are good things here, family, friends, my hobbies, etc.But imagine what we could have without the corrupt and the stupid who get corrupted. It’s a dream I awake from every day and the fact is, you alone can’t make that difference. You and thousands can’t make the difference. You and millions, maybe? But it's hard, and it doesn’t deal with the core of the issue and even in the best case it's all temporary because it's human nature to be greedy, to manipulate, to be cruel.I grieve the world we could have but I refuse to let it lessen my life.
